WHAT IS ISCYPAA?
ISCYPAA IS AN ANNUAL ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS CONFERENCE HELD IN THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. IT IS AN EVENT FOR ANY AND ALL MEMBERS OF AA,AND IS ORGANIZED PRIMARILY BY YOUNG, RECOVERING ALCOHOLICS
ABOUT ISCYPAA… The ILLINOIS Conference of Young People in Alcoholics Anonymous (ISCYPAA) was founded for the purpose of providing a setting for an annual celebration of sobriety among young people in Alcoholics Anonymous. Since its inception, a growing group of people, who at first would not consider themselves as “young people,” has become regular attendees. The number of young people suffering from alcoholism who turn to Alcoholics Anonymous for help is growing, and ISCYPAA helps to carry AA’s message of recovery to alcoholics of all ages. This meeting provides an opportunity for young Alcoholics Anonymous MEMBERS from all over the STATE to come together and share their experience, strength, and hope as members of Alcoholics Anonymous. Alcoholics Anonymous members who attend an ISCYPAA return home better prepared to receive young people who come to AA looking for a better way of life.

59th Annual ICYPAA – Chicago 2017

“ICYPAA was founded for the purpose of providing a setting for an annual celebration of sobriety among young people in AA. Since its inception, a growing group of people, who at first would not consider themselves as “young people,” has become regular attendees. The number of young people suffering from alcoholism who turn to AA for help is growing, and ICYPAA helps to carry AA’s message of recovery to alcoholics of all ages. This meeting provides an opportunity for young AA’s from all over the world to come together and share their experience, strength, and hope as members of Alcoholics Anonymous. AA members who attend an ICYPAA return home better prepared to receive young people who come to AA looking for a better way of life.”

FESTIVUS for the REST OF US

Come join the Elgin Bid for ISCYPAA around the metal pole to celebrate Festivus on Festivus Day!!

Activities will include but aren’t limited to:

  • Airing of Grievances Meeting @ 7:30 pm
  • Decorating of the Pole
  • Lots of Feats of Strength
  • Warm glow of Victory
  • Ugly Holiday Clothing Attire Encouraged
  • Random Prizes & Raffles
  • Food, Fellowship & Dancing!

Speakers, fellowship, food and fun! Come on out and help support the Elgin Iscypaa bid committee and fellowship. $5 suggested donation.

ISCYPAA Campy-Thingy 2 (workshops, overnight, dance & more)

Come out and camp with the Elgin ISCYPAA Bid Committee! $15 to camp or $10 to just come join us on Saturday. Food, fellowship, games, raffles, speakers, meetings, bonfires, entertainment and much more!!! (You will most likely not be turned away because of money)
