Thanksgiving Day Open House

Thursday November 23rd, 2023

Time: 11:00 am – 5:00 pm | Meetings – Fellowship – Fun!

The Elgin Alano Club will be OPEN for friends and visitors on Thanksgiving Day! We will be conducting a Series of Meetings in
Unit C between 11:30 – 4:30pm, plus the gift shop, big screen TV and members lounge are open, kids room activities and lots more!

We WILL be serving a meal this year, huzzah! If you plan to bring a dish to share, please sign up at the club, so we do not ‘load up’ on any single item.

Bring a friend, board game and attend one of our extra meetings for the day!  A perfect ‘escape’ from what many may find to be a stressful and/or tempting day with or without family.

Speaker Meeting! Costume Contest with CASH PRIZES!!! And a Dance!!!

Timeline of Event:

  • 5:00pm – Doors open & Fellowship
  • 6:00pm Pulled Pork Sandwiches, mingle and partake in some SPOOKIE Treats!
  • 7:00pm – Open Meeting – Speaker Panel on “Fears”
  • 8:00pm – Let the Bash Begin after the meeting!
    • Dancing / Music with DJ Mark
    • Costume Contest w/ CASH prizes
    • 50/50 Raffle and other activities
  • 11:00pm Bash close – Let’s end Sober-tober with a bang!

Cost: $5 Members | $6 Non-Members | Bring a Dish to Pass for $1 off entry!
