Elgin Soup Kettle Schedule
The Elgin Soup Kettles are a mission of the Elgin Cooperative Ministries. For the past 10 years a number of local churches have collaborated with Elgin’s Soup Kettle program, serving those in need with hot meals and warm smiles. Soup Kettle’s Kitchen provides meals to 60-100 needy individuals every night.
Weekly Schedule:
Monday: First United Methodist Church, 216 E. Highland Ave., 5:30-6:30
Tuesday: Zion Lutheran Church, 330 Griswold, 5:30-6:30
Wednesday: First Congregational Church, 256 E., Chicago St., 5:30-6:30
Thursday: Church of the Redeemer, 40 Center St., 5:30-6:30
Friday: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division St., 5:30-6:30
Saturday: Church of the Brethren, 783 W. Highland Ave., 5:30-6:30
Sunday: Elgin Evangelical Free Church, 1900 Big Timber Rd., 4:00-5:00
